I attended UNC Charlotte where I received my bachelors degree. I attended Gardner-Webb University where I received my masters degree. I have taught 16 years, four at Fallston Elementary School and then twelve teaching PE and coaching at Burns Middle School. I enjoy being outside, playing sports and spending time with my husband and two boys who are four and one.

The faculty and staff of Fallston Elementary School would like to introduce our newest teacher, Mr. Casey Stafford. Mr. Stafford will be joining our staff as a first grade teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. Mr. Stafford has shared some information about himself:

I am very excited to join the Fallston Elementary School family this school year! It feels good to come back home to the place where I did my student teaching. From the time I was a little child I knew I wanted to become a teacher and my dream has come true! I grew up in the big city of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, and graduated from Kings Mountain High School in 2010. After graduating from high school I continued my education at Gardner-Webb University where I graduated with a BA degree in Elementary Education in 2014. I begin the Master's program in teacher leadership this Fall at Gardner-Webb. This will be my fourth year of teaching! I have taught fourth and fifth grades and I am excited to teach first grade.
